newest Halloween offering
ve heard this rumor from two different sources, so I¡¯m pretty confident. Anyway, this weekend the Oregon Ducks uniforms against USC will be ¡ the debut of the carbon fiber helmets, black jersey, and ¡°steel¡± pants. So sick, I absolutely cannot wait for this outfit. And I¡¯ll go on the record with a prediction: 35-13 Oregon, on the strength of the Ducks secondary making Barkley look average. And check out past predictions here or the create-your-own-uniform generator here. Creating a shoe to represent the unique culture and ideas of Germany¡¯s capital city seems like a complicated concept, but that¡¯s exactly what Nike Sportswear has set out to do with the Nike Air Pegasus 89 ¡°Berlin.¡± nike shoes The project is cloaked in secrecy at the moment, but the shoe appears to be incorporate purple, white and a dark upper (black it seems). I¡¯m sure a detailed preview is on the way, stick with NikeBlog for details. Who doesn¡¯t love a nice holiday-themed gimmick shoe, especially around Halloween, the possibilities being so endless for that particular holiday. With that in mind, meet the newest Halloween offering: The Nike Air Force 1 ¡°Savage Beast.¡± The shoe, which sports a horror-genre font on all the writing and presumably takes inspiration from Lon Chaney¡¯s Wolf As mentioned a few months ago, the Jordan Melo M6 is the newest Carmelo Anthony signature shoe from Jordan Brand. Another quick release reminder
. Quick release reminder, the Air Jordan 1 ¡°Leroy Smith¡± release date is set for tomorrow, October 31st at retailers such as the Nike Sportswear flagship store in NYC. The shoe made a brief appearance on NikeStore.com a few weeks ago, although without any stock to back it up, so it¡¯s possible you¡¯ll see it there too. Really cool, unique colorway inspired by the ¡°Leroy Smith: The Man Who Motivated Michael Jordan¡± YouTube skits by Charlie Murphy. NIKEiD has just added a feature to the Air Max 90 that many of you may be familiar with. The Air Jordan XII ¡°Flu Game¡± release date is scheduled for November 27th, 2009, a Friday. If you fancy spending the rest of the weekend mired in an improbable state of fabric-related melancholy, try reading the Wikipedia page for Harris Tweed. It's a genuinely sad saga of decline and loss. After 1966, when they produced a record 7.6m yards of the stuff, it's all job cuts, deteriorating demand and disastrous business strategies. "The only major promotional success of Harris Tweed in recent years has been their use on several Nike trainer models," it ends, pathetically
But help may be at hand: designers have decided tweed is this season's fabric. There were a lot of tweed suits on the catwalk, looking, it has to be said, neither fusty nor disagreeably louche, but rather good: it's been absent from most men's wardrobes for so long, that it seems cheap shoes fresh and different. Certainly, there are pictures of tweed hoodies knocking about, over which we should draw a veil: they're hideous enough to stop the revival in the august fabric's fortunes inana Republic. Shirt, ¡ê29.50, by Gap. Trousers, from a selection, by Lyle & Scott. Hat, from a selection, from asos.com. Shoes, Alexis's own. Along with being aestheticaing a surface that grips onto whatever I'm hiking up. They're also super comfortable ¡ª I've hiked in these shoes for hours with no complaints, and even did an hour on the treadmill with them wheline because of all the cool colors offered. Most hiking and approach shoes are pretty boring and come in two colors ¡ª all-over brown or green. Although I did settle on the ones that have brown and green in them, I think the colors are a lot brighter and flashier than any other hiking shoe I've seen. I also love the fluorescent pink swoosh on the side.

Wildedge shoe ¡ª a modern twist on the vintage Wildwood shoe that was popular in the '90s.Jordan shoes I was immediately drawn to the Poor old tweed. Where did it go wrong? Even the word has negative connotations. If you describe someone as tweedy, it's taken to mean they're fusty, although its original definition is the opposite: it's supposed to suggest a disagreeable loucheness: the kind of man, as writer Phil McCombs put it, who "if he were preparing to drink a martini, might casually stir it with his finger". Either way, it's not meant as a compliment.
